Is it possible to Lose weight fast by Just drinking a Tea?

Read my Tava Tea Review below!

Tava Tea is considered one of the best modern methods to lose weight. The Europeans and the Americans came to know this wonder recently, but the tea is consumed by the wise Asian cultures for thousands of years now. However, being promoted by personalities such as Victoria Beckham (why would she need to lose weight after all?) and Oprah, the Western civilization had the opportunity to discover this great product.

I drink tea myself for some years now. I consider tea as a method of entertainment and a great option for the chemical juices on the market, but I never dreamed about tea being a method to lose weight. Yes, I heard about the Cho Yung tea, but it tastes awful so I hadn’t had the chance to discover if it is also effective.

After seeing Victoria Beckham talking about Tava Tea and after discovering it on the first pages of the national newspapers, I decided I need a sample too.

>Click Here to know how the Tava Tea Formulation Works<

However, as I am a responsible person, I tried to discover the ingredients from the Tava Tea first. I’ve searched them carefully and I thought about writing this Tava Tea Review especially for you.

This is not the first time I try a product to write a review. However, every time I am trying those products I am also asking myself “how could this product help me lose weight?” Here are the main characteristics that would convince me to buy a certain product:

1) Would this solution be efficient if I can’t control my eating habits?

2) Would this be a fast and permanent solution?

Tava Tea helps burn calories faster because of its special ingredients and antioxidants. It has other benefits also, such as reducing the cholesterol and increasing the resistance of your immune system.

Green Sencha, Wuyi Cliff Oolong, and Puerh Teas are the main ingredients of this tea. Maybe you don’t know these plants, but one thing is certain: Tava Tea is an organic and chemical-free product.

Let me tell you about My Personal Experience with the Tava Tea

I am fed up with the weight loss products from the common market. I tried almost all of them and I was unsatisfied with the results.

I am trying every product carefully now, and I can say I have an experience that allows me to eliminate ineffective products from the start. Tava Tea is not one of them, and its ingredients convinced me.

I have started my Tava Tea cure less than a month ago, but I can tell you some really great facts about it:

- Tava Tea INCREASED my energy for life.

- My daily snacks, chips, and cookies disappeared from my alimentation; cravings are not an option for me anymore.

- I have started to feel a lot better, with my headaches and pains gone forever!.

The possibility of a perfect diet without taking pills and without renouncing my favorite snacks and foods is really appealing, and I never thought I could find one. However, here I am telling you about it. This means something, right?

Before taking the Tava Tea, I was a little overweighed and stressed. I am the manager of a department from a multinational company, so I can’t reduce my workload and I can’t eliminate bad eating habits. As for exercises, working 16 hours a day gets them out of the discussion automatically.

Tava Tea did its job amazingly. I lost three pounds after two weeks, and even if this is not such a great result, the continuation of the cure was amazing. For the third week, I lost three pounds. I really hope this will continue, and I really need to thank Tava Tea for keeping their word.

I am still not at my normal weight. Maybe I should have waited for another month before writing this Tava Tea review. However, I am so impatient to share this information with you, and I hope you will rediscover the charm of the mornings, just as I did with the Tava Tea.

>Click here for a SOLID Discount + Money Back Guarantee<

Paiyouji tea is one of the many herbal weight loss teas to hit the market recently. Makers of the tea claim that it controls blood glucose levels and suppresses the appetite to facilitate weight loss. There are several ingredients in Paiyouji tea that claim to offer different fat loss related benefits. The active ingredients in Paiyouji tea include chitosan, oligosaccharides and konjaku flour. Since Paiyouji tea has not been approved by the FDA as a weight loss supplement, the ingredients should be examined carefully before deciding to use it for those purposes. Paiyouji tea also lacks an official website, and testimonials that seem credible are nowhere to be found.

Let’s take a closer look at what Paiyouji tea contains and examine the ingredients individually.

Glucomannan

The konjaku flour found in Paiyouji tea contains a fiber called glucomannan that is reported to absorb several times its weight in water. According to a study published in the International Journal of Obesity conducted by D.E Walsh et al, glucomannan can help dieters lose weight. Dr. Ray Sahelian, however, warns that glucomannan does have some uncomfortable side effects including excessive flatulence and abdominal pain. Glucomannan can also prevent the absorption of nutrients and other medicines or supplements.

Oligosaccharides

The oligosaccharide in this Paiyouji tea can compound the gastrointestinal side effects, as they act as a soluble fiber. Common side effects of oligosaccharides include a strong laxative effect and excess gas production in the colon. Oligosaccharides act as soluble fiber. Using products with oligosaccharide can increase production of gases in your colon. This substance also causes a laxative effect.

Chitin

The chitin in Paiyouji tea is actually chitosan. Chitosan is a polysaccharide extracted from crustacean shells that reportedly absorbs fats and oils similarly to how glucomannan absorbs water. The story is that chitosan pulls dietary fats into a ball that the body cannot digest, causing it to pass in the stool undigested. There is some evidence to support these claims, although no conclusive research can be found to links chitosan to effective weight loss. Like glucomannan, chitosan can also prevent the absorption of necessary nutrients including fat soluble vitamins.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C has many health benefits. It facilitates healing, s vital to collagen production, supports healthy immune function, and improves the health of the teeth and gums. As far as having any effect on weight loss, the doses required would lead to unpleasant side effects. Excessive vitamin C doses can lead to migraines, nausea, kidney stones and dizziness.

Although the marketing behind Paiyouji tea makes numerous claims of its effectiveness for weight loss, data to back up these claims just doesn’t exist. Paiyouji is not really like green tea or other Chinese herbal teas like Oolong tea that have numerous studies confirming their effectiveness. In fact, it’s not really an herbal tea, but a collection of ingredients put into a tea bag. Semantics, you might say, but calling it a tea implies that it is made from tea leaves and may have polythenols which have proven benefits, which Paiyouji tea does not.

There is a long list of proven fat loss ingredients out there, but unfortunately Paiyouji tea doesn’t contain any of them. It is basically a fiber supplement with a bit of vitamin C thrown in. It has no impact on metabolic rate or fat mobilizations, and claims that it absorbs calories in the stomach preventing them from being digested are only loosely corroborated by any real research. Paiyouji also lacks and of the cleansing and antioxidant properties of teas like Oolong tea and Pu-erh tea.

Conclusion

Paiyouji tea may not be all it’s cracked up to be, but if you came to this article looking for a real weight loss tea with proven ingredients and hundreds of glowing testimonials, I’m not going to send you away empty handed. This tea does exist; it’s called Tava Tea. It is a blend of green sencha, oolong and pu-erh teas, all of which have been shown to facilitate increased metabolic rate, more efficient digestion, blood cleansing, and improved liver function.

Research also suggests that these teas can prevent cancer, improve eyesight and remove LDL cholesterol (the bad stuff) from the blood. You can choose Tava tea and get all of these benefits in one product, or you could choose Paiyouji tea and have serious gas. I’d hardly call that a tough decision.

There are some great products out there like Tava Tea that have proven weight loss benefits and user testimonials to back them up. Unfortunately, unscrupulous companies try to cash in on current trends my using hype marketing to promote inferior products that only help you lose weight from your wallet. The fact that you did some research on Paiyouji tea before pulling out your credit card puts you ahead of the pack.

To learn more about the benefits of Tava Tea and learn what separates it from pack, visit their official website here.

There are fat burners on the market with such a variety of different ingredients that it would take a lifetime of study to learn about them all. If you ask me, it’s much easier to choose a fat burner that has a main ingredient that you’ve already heard of. One that has proven fat loss benefits and thousands of positive reviews would be even better. Green tea fat burners offer you both.

It’s really no surprise that green tea extract is used in fat burning supplements. We’ve all been hearing about how great it is for years. What’s so special about green tea? Let’s take a closer look.

Green tea for weight loss; what makes it so effective?

In addition to having only 4 calories per serving, green tea contains a handful of compounds that can help you win ‘the battle of the bulge’.

Caffeine: Caffeine is a potent stimulant, and is an ingredient in many weight loss supplements. It aids in appetite suppression, boosting energy, improving alertness, and increasing stamina and endurance during exercise. One of the benefits of green tea is that the caffeine levels are low enough to avoid side effects like sleeplessness and anxiety, yet high enough to elicit the positive benefits listed above.

Catechins: (including EGCG): Catechins are antioxidants that protect against free radicals, which are basically oxidized atoms that can destroy healthy cells; especially if they exist in high quantities. Catechins also facilitate increased fat loss by:

1. Boosting the metabolism.
Catechins ramp up your metabolism through a process called thermogenesis – which is the conversion of kilocalories into heat. More thermogenesis means more calories burned and more fat loss.

2. Regulating digestion.
Catechins pull double duty by allowing feelings of satiety to be reached after eating smaller meals and improving the digestion of the foods you eat.

3. Regulating glucose production.
Catechins regulate blood glucose and the release of insulin; a hormone that promotes fat storage. Green tea aids in the prevention of diabetes, as EGCG and other catechins regulate the enzymes that break down carbohydrates. This slows the production of glucose in the gastrointestinal system which means less insulin is released as a result. Les insulin means more fat loss and shrinking love handles!

4. Reducing body fat levels.
Several studies have confirmed that catechins reduce both body fat percentage and waist circumference. A study conducted with Japanese men as subjects concluded that 690mg of green tea catechins per day consumed for a 12 week period reduced BMI, waist circumference, body fat mass and overall bodyweight more significantly than a placebo. Body weight and waist circumference were reduced by an average of over 4.5%!

Are there any green tea side effects?
Some people who used green tea fat burners complained of feeling dizzy, having headaches, or being dehydrated. Most of those experiencing these side effects admitted to exceeding the recommended dosage and taking the fat burners on an empty stomach. These are all common side effects of caffeine, and can be avoided by sticking to the recommended dose and drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Green tea fat burners will help you lose weight, but you must use them intelligently and do your part to avoid the side effects related to excessive doses.

Is there a particular green tea fat burner you recommend?

I’ve tried a dozen different green tea weight loss products with different degrees of success, but there is one I continue to use and can recommend. It’s called Tava tea, and is actually a blend of green tea, Oolong tea and Pu-erh tea. The three herbal teas work together for maximum effect, each making the others stronger. It tastes good, is 100% organic, and most importantly, it works. Tava tea benefits include:

Increase in metabolic rate

Reduced LDL cholesterol

Improved digestion

Anti-cancer properties

Reduced appetite

Improved liver function

Increased sense of calm and well being

It’s the best green tea fat loss supplement out there, and I’ve tried them all. You can buy Tava tea from their official website here.

The Chinese discovered and started drinking green tea 4,000 years ago, and it has been consumed as a beverage and used in traditional Chinese medicine ever since. Claims regarding health benefits of green tea include the ability to regulate body temperature, control bleeding, heal wounds, stabilize blood sugar and aid in healthy digestion

There has also been a significant amount of research done that supports the claims that green tea is a potent weight loss tea. In January of 2005 a study was conducted and published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluding that subjects who consumed green tea amounting to 690mg of catechins per day for twelve weeks lost more weight than the control group. This and a host of other published studies point to green tea as an effective tool for the prevention of ‘lifestyle disease’ like obesity.

The caffeine in green tea, although minimal, augments the calorie burning effects and helps to oxidize fats. This is one of the primary reasons it has become so popular in the west even though traditionally black tea was preferred.

Green tea is also very high in antioxidants, which can aid in the fat loss process in the following ways:

Firstly, antioxidants eliminate many types of toxins from the body that can accumulate over time. The removal of such toxins results in better organ function and improved digestion, both of which aid in the fat loss process.

Secondly, the elimination of these toxins has been shown to improve the metabolic rate, which basically allows green tea drinkers to burn more calories during regular daily activities.

Thirdly, green tea reduces the appetite by regulating blood sugar. Spikes and dips in blood sugar are what cause hunger, particularly cravings for foods high in carbohydrates, which, as we all know, are not the best choices for those trying to drop some weight.

Lastly, green tea can minimize the insulin released after a meal high in carbohydrates. Insulin promotes fat storage and hinders fat burning, so the less of it that is released the better.

Other Green Tea Benefits

In addition to the fat burning advantages listed above, green tea has also been shown to prevent many types of cancers. It prevents tumor growth, guards against negative effects from high LDL cholesterol, and helps prevent Type-1 Diabetes. With all of these health benefits, drinking green tea seems to be a no-brainer for health conscious individuals who want to control their weight.

Using Green Tea for Weight Loss

Obviously green tea brings a lot to the table in terms of weight loss, but there is a way to make these effects even more powerful. This method involves using the green tea with other Chinese diet teas to exert a synergistic effect and multiply the results one could achieve. There are blended specialty teas available that contain green tea along with other teas and ingredients to boost its effectiveness.

Cho Yung slimming tea is one such blend, and dieters have achieved good results using it, but there is one tea out there that’s even better. It combines the most powerful blend of Chinese herbal teas and other powerful ingredients that facilitate fat loss available anywhere. The tea I’m referring to is called Tava Tea.

What is Tava Tea?

Tava Tea is a special weight loss blend that contains green sencha tea, oolong tea, and pu-erh tea together in a metabolism boosting, fat burning wonder tea. Tava Tea offers the following benefits:

Burns over twice as many calories as green tea

Reduces the impact on blood sugar carbohydrates have

Calms the mind and body

Has proven anti-aging properties

Improves immune function

100% organic and completely safe

There’s no denying the bevy of health benefits green tea offers, but if you want to take things to the next level, Tava Tea is the way to go. You’ll get all the benefits of green tea along with the synergistic effect from the other fat burning ingredients in the blend. You can buy Tava Tea here at their official website.

Of all the popular teas, white tea is the least processed. Select leaves and shiny silver buds are simply lightly steamed and then dried. The minimal processing leaves the nutrients intact, making white tea a very nutrient dense tea with a myriad of health benefits.

The Color And Taste Of White Tea

The white silvery white hairs on the freshly blooming buds give white tea its name, though it also fits with the untouched nature and purity of the tea. Silver Needle, the most coveted of the white teas contains only these beautiful buds, and is practically glowing when fresh.

Silver Needle has a subtle, delicate sweetness that avid tea drinkers praise it for. It is light on the tongue, and doesn’t overwhelm in the least.

Compared to green tea or black tea, white tea has far less caffeine, making it ideal for those who try to avoid it.

The first harvest in early spring offers up the best white tea leaves, as is the case with many other teas. The silver buds and select leaves must be handpicked when ready to preserve their integrity.

As the tea can only be picked for a short window of time, it is among the rarest of all teas. It cannot be picked during rain or cold spells either given its delicate nature

Once the right buds and leaves have been selected they are steamed and dried very slowly. White tea is not rolled, in contrast to its green and black cousins, and is only slightly oxidized. The catechin and polythenol levels in white tea are extremely high, making it a super food in addition to a delicious beverage.

White Tea Varieties

There are many different varieties of white tea, with the following four being among the highest in quality:

Silver Needle

As mentioned above, this is the cream of the crop; an utterly beautiful, fragrant and delicious tea.

White Peony

Next in the rankings is White Peony, which consists of both buds and leaves. The best White Peony is made from quality growth with the white silvery hairs intact. It is darker in color and more pungent than Silver Needle.

Long Life Eyebrow

Next in line is Long Life Eyebrow; a more common white tea which contains the leaves that didn’t make the cut after the White Peony and Silver Needle harvest.

Tribute Eyebrow

Another common white tea, Tribute Eyebrow is actually from a different bush and undergoes a special form of processing which differs from the others listed.

The Benefits of White Tea

White tea, like the more popular green tea, is full of compounds that have been proven to benefit health in many ways. In the west, we’re late to the party, as these teas have been consumed for their health properties for centuries. Some of the benefits include:

White Tea Antioxidants

Free radicals are oxidized atoms or groups of atoms that wreak havoc in the body accelerating the aging process and damaging DNA. Antioxidants protect the cells of the body against these free radicals minimizing the damage they can do. White tea is highest in antioxidants of all the teas.

Cancer Prevention

Flavonoids are a class of antioxidants that have been shown to protect against many forms of cancer by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and preventing new ones from developing. Some research shows that white tea works as well as some prescription drugs, minus the nasty side effects, of course.

Lower Blood Pressure

Compounds in white tea thin the blood and strengthen arteries. This keeps blood pressure regulated and guards against strokes.

Lower Cholesterol

White tea is loaded with catechins, another type of antioxidant that lowers LDL, raises HDL and prevents arteries from hardening and disrupting blood flow.

Is white tea effective for aiding in weight loss?

There have been limited studies to quantify the benefit of white tea in a weight loss program, but the compounds in white tea have been proven to be quite beneficial in other teas like Oolong and green tea.

I want the benefits of White tea, but I also want to lose weight; what should I do?

I love white tea, and drink it myself on a daily basis. To get the most benefit out of it, however, I don’t drink it alone. Ever since I first tried Tava tea a few months back I have been hooked on it. It is absolutely overflowing with compounds that offer a laundry list of health benefits, and has proven to be best tea for weight loss. As Tava tea doesn’t contain any white tea (it has green sencha tea, oolong tea and pu-erh tea) I simply add some white tea when I brew a batch of Tava. This gives me the health benefits of white tea along with the strongest weight loss tea online in Tava tea. Check out the official site to learn more about Tava tea benefits here.

The use of Asian herbal teas for slimming purposes has sky rocketed recently, as millions are discovering benefits that Asia has know about for centuries. Both the Chinese and Japanese have made green tea a staple for hundreds of years for its myriad of health benefits and help with controlling weight.

Current research supports the claims that green tea boosts the metabolic rate and allows users to burn more calories each day while going about their normal routines. Cho-Yung Slimming Tea contains green tea in addition to a variety of other Chinese herbs that have been shown to facilitate calorie expenditure and weight loss.

The Ingredients

Oolong Tea

Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea with a unique production process. After the fresh leaves are picked, they are sun dried until they lose most of their moisture. They are then shaken repeatedly in bamboo baskets, causing the edges of the leaves to turn yellow. The tea leaves are then fermented and smoked.

The finished product has an earthy and smoky flavor when brewed, and is very rich in antioxidants and minerals. The caffeine content is minimal so oolong tea should not cause excessive wakefulness when consumed later in the day.

Several controlled studies have confirmed that oolong tea, when consumed daily, has a noticeable effect on fat loss.

Lotus Leaf

Lotus leaf supports the function of vital organs involved in the digestion process such as the liver, spleen and kidneys. In Chinese medicine it is also used to strengthen the heart.

Alisma Rhizome

Alisma Rhizome is a powerful detoxifying agent that flushes out and cleans the blood and other vital fluids.

Cassia Seeds

Cassia seeds, similar to lotus leaf, aid in the digestion process and keep the intestines hydrated.

Theu

Theu works to support and improve liver function, allowing fat to be mobilized and burned more efficiently.

Jiaogulan

Jiaogulan aids in proper digestion and is very high in antioxidants.

Poria

Poria strengthens the immune system and supports healthy kidney and spleen function.

What About Customer Reviews?

In addition to the benefits listed above, Cho Yung Slimming Tea has also been reported to prevent certain cancers due to its high antioxidant content. Claims of effectiveness are certainly to be expected from manufacturers, but what have users of Cho Yung tea said about it.

“After using Cho Yung Tea for only three weeks, I was already able to see changes in my appearance. I jumped on the scale to make sure I wasn’t fooling myself, and I found that I had lost 7 pounds. In fact, I had hoped to lose ten pounds in three months, and I was already down 7 three weeks!”

“I decided to try Cho Yung tea for a month. I must say, I’m pretty impressed. I lost 6 pounds, which might not seem so impressive, but I didn’t exercise at all and didn’t restrict calories either, just ate when I was hungry.”

“After trying a few different weight loss supplements, I decided to give Cho Yung Slimming Tea a try. I’ve been slowly losing weight and feeling better since I started drinking a cup in the morning and one in the afternoon. This is good stuff, I recommend it!”

As you can see, people seem to be having a lot of success with Cho Yung Slimming Tea. Based on these reviews and the impressive list of ingredients and their benefits, I wondered if Cho Yung tea might give tava tea a run for its money. They are both powerful blends that come with a variety of health benefits. They have both been shown to facilitate weight loss through increased metabolic rate, improved digestion and the cleansing of the blood and organs.

Tava vs. Cho Yung: The Title Bout

Of all the herbal weight loss teas on the market, tava tea has repeatedly proven to be the best when it comes to customer satisfaction. Would Cho Yung Slimming Tea change all of that?

Reviews are stellar for both products, so the only way to really find out which was better would require some people willing to be guinea pigs and try them both. Luckily for us, finding people enthusiastic about losing weight isn’t very hard, and we were able to find some willing testers. Here’s what they had to say.

Tava vs. Cho Yung: The Verdict

“These are both quality products, and I now have them both in my cupboard. When it’s time to restock, though, I’m going to have to go with tava tea. I feel like the results are a bit better, and I also felt better with tava tea, and Cho Yung didn’t do that for me.”

“After using both products, I have to say Tava Tea is the winner in terms of weight loss. I had a few side effects with Cho Yung like being in the bathroom a lot and I also had pretty bad breath. Ch Yung is okay, but tava is number one for me.

There are many more reviews, but they also pretty much echo the same sentiment. Cho Yung proved to be a contender, but tava is still the reigning champion. If you’re ready to give it a try, click here to visit the official site.

Lemongrass is a prominent herb used in many types of Asian cuisine, and can be found in many Asian markets and specialty foods stores here in the west. Lemongrass has a calming effect on the body, and is ideal for those needing relief from the stresses and strains of a busy daily routine. It also has strong detoxifying agents which cleanse the pancreas, liver and kidneys. Lemongrass is also a primary ingredient in many colon cleanse formulas as it detoxifies and cleans the digestive tract. In addition, it improves the health and appearance of the skin and has also been reported to help with arthritis pain. One or 2 cups per day are recommended to enjoy the many benefits of lemongrass as a tea. Do not exceed 2 cups per day, as this will not enhance any of the positive benefits, but may cause stomach discomfort.

Lemongrass has also been called fever grass or citronella grass, and is indigenous to India. It has a long history of use in traditional Chinese medicine as well. Extracts of lemongrass can also be used externally on sprains, cuts, or on areas where arthritis is causing pain. To use it in this way, allow the tea to cool after brewing and apply with a fresh cloth to the intended area.

Lemongrass Tea offers a long list of benefits, a few of which are listed below.

The elimination of dietary fats.

Lemongrass helps the body process and eliminate fats through improved digestion and more efficient processing of fatty foods.

The elimination of chemicals, preservatives, fatty acids and toxins consumed in food.

Many of the foods we eat today contain these unwanted ingredients, which can have a negative impact on our health and lead to serious long-term health issues. Drinking a cup of lemongrass tea after a meal will help cleanse your system of these additives, greatly reducing any long-term damage they could cause.

Facilitating digestion after a meal.

At one time or another we have all eaten a large meal that left us feeling like somebody had poured cement into our stomachs. The sluggish, weighted down feeling that results is anything but comfortable. A cup of lemon grass consumed after a meal like this, in addition to removing toxins as mentioned above, will facilitate proper digestion and give you relief from these uncomfortable feelings quickly.

If you can’t find prepared Lemongrass tea at your local Asian market or specialty store, you can use fresh lemon grass to prepare the tea yourself. Though a stalk of fresh lemon grass may look rather intimidating, it is relatively easy to work with and makes an exceptionally delicious and fresh tasting cup of tea. To start with you want to remove the outer layers from the stalk, as brewing them will result in excessive bitterness, and a rather unpleasant cup of tea. Once the leaves are removed, cut the remaining stalk into thin rounds slices. You want to use about a tablespoon of the slices per each cup of water. Bring your water to a boil first, then pour it over the fresh slices and allow it to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Once it is brewed just pour it through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and it’s ready to drink.

If you prefer, you can make the tea in a teapot that has a built in strainer. Most enjoy the taste of the tea without any additives, but a little bit of stevia or agave nectar can be added for a touch of sweetness.

What exactly is Oolong Tea?

Let’s start with a look at the three main types of teas and how they are produced:

Green Tea is gently boiled or treated immediately following being picked to prevent oxidation of the leaves and discoloring.

Black Tea is allowed to oxidize fully after picking which gives it its distinctive dark color and pungent flavor.

Oolong Tea is made from raw leaves which are wilted in the sun and bruised. The leaves are then allowed to partially oxidize before being fully dried to lock in the rich floral flavors oolong tea has become known for. This process also leaves the compounds that are responsible for boosting the metabolic rate and facilitating fat loss intact for greater benefit to dieters who drink it.

Varieties of Oolong Tea

There are several varieties of oolong tea with different levels of fermentation and distinctive flavors. Oolongs range from bright green and slightly fermented to dark-leafed and hearty. The brighter green oolongs are less fermented and usually fresher and milder in flavor, similar to green teas, while the darker green varieties have been fermented longer and have a rich complex, earthy flavor like black tea.

The Camellia Sinensis plant from China is responsible for giving oolong tea to the world. The finer blends are made from special plant cultivars, and can vary in degree of fermentation considerably, with the greener versions undergoing as little as 8% fermentation and the darker varieties as much as 85%.

Oolong teas subjected to partial oxidation are classified as blue-green tea. Oolong teas have a wide range of characteristics and flavors. Some carry a sweet honey-like flavor, while others give off an earthy, woody aroma. Still others can have a fresh green taste with aromatic herb and flower scents. These variations are created by the different curing techniques involved and the climate in which the tea is grown. Locale specific variations from the central mountains of Taiwan and the Wuyi Mountains are widely regarded as some of the best oolong teas in the world.

Oolong leaves are traditionally made into two different shapes while being produced. In the first process they are rolled into longer curly leaves. The second process involves wrapping and curling them into circular shapes with small tails. Of the two, the curly shapes are more common. The name ‘oolong’ is Chinese and means ‘black dragon tea’.

Jasmine blooms are often added to oolong teas for a more aromatic quality. The tea leaves are steamed along with handpicked flowers to preserve their fragrant aroma. All types of oolong tea originate from the Camellia Sinensis and thus have the same properties regardless of the difference in color, aroma and flavor.

Oolong Tea Health Benefits

Oolong tea has a significantly stronger metabolism boosting effect than green tea, which makes it an ideal choice for a weight loss tea. Two cups are recommended per day to reap the maximum benefits.

The potent polyphenols in Oolong tea also:

Promote strong bones and teeth

Improve cognitive abilities

Prevent certain allergies and eczema

Promote clear, health skin

Strengthen the immune system

Oolong for Weight Loss

Oolong tea has been proven to significantly improve fat mobilization, metabolic rate and digestion; all of which contribute to greater fat loss than diet and exercise alone. While oolong tea is effective on its own, to reap the full benefits of the tea it is best to consume it in a blended tea with other ingredients that multiply its effectiveness.

The most potent oolong blend available today is tava tea. This powerful weight loss blend adds oolong to a list of proven fat burning teas like sencha and puerh along with other health promoting ingredients that create a synergistic effect that will quickly melt off those unwanted pounds. If you want to get the most out of you oolong tea, the tava tea blend is the way to go.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave like an old Chinese monk, you’re aware of the flood of weight loss teas that have been creating a buzz in the community as of late. Dieters prefer these teas over other stimulant laden and newfangled supplements that offer only questionable safety guarantees and boastful claims. These teas have been consumed in Asian countries for centuries, so their safety and validity have been well documented.

These herbal weight loss teas are also quite enjoyable to drink, full of subtle flavors and fragrant aromas that conjure up calming images of cloud painted mountain ranges in the Himalayas. Given the variety of weight loss teas now available, consumers may find the plethora of choices and the health benefits they offer rather confusing. In this article I’m going to cover some of the more popular weight loss teas available, elaborating on the benefits of each. I’ll even recommend my own favorites, as I’ve used them myself for years.

Green Sencha Tea

Green tea has become a household name associated with improved health and youthful metabolism. There are actually many different types of green tea, and Sencha is among the most delicious and beneficial of them.

Quite popular in Japan, Sencha is recognized by the curled shape of the dried leaves made by a special processing method exclusive to this type of tea. The process improves both the flavor and the concentration of catechins and polythenols responsible for the effects on the metabolism and fat loss the tea has become known for.

The ‘first flush’ Sencha teas, made from the first harvest of the season, are the most coveted for their sublime flavor and color.

Pu-erh Tea

Pu-erh tea has long been associated with a host of health benefits in traditional Chinese medicine, among them removing toxins from the flood, improving circulation, countering inflammation and even improving eyesight. Pu-erh’s ability to aid in digestion, particularly by breaking down fats has made it the customary accompaniment to dim sum and other Chinese dishes high in dietary fat. For these reasons, Pu-erh is commonly used as a slimming tea by dieters hoping to lose weight.

Oolong Tea

Oolong tea, also know a Wulong tea, is another popular weight loss tea regularly consumed in China and Japan for its delicate flavor and health benefits. Oolong is made through a special process, and falls in between green tea and black tea on the scale from fresh to highly fermented. The polyphenols in Oolong tea exert a more powerful metabolism boosting effect than green tea which helps dieters burn more calories during normal daily activities.

So which is the best?

All of the above mentioned teas are quite beneficial to dieters looking for help optimizing their metabolism and improve digestive abilities to support healthy weight loss. I can’t say one is better than the others. They all work well and have helped millions of individuals lose weight, get healthier and feel more energetic throughout the day.

So I should go out and buy all of them?

Using these teas together will create a synergistic effect which will amplify the effects of each tea and supercharge the fat burning benefits you’ll receive. Now, I know what you’re thinking. You don’t want to go out and buy three different kinds of tea and then try to figure out how to brew them separately and combine them each day. That would be expensive, time consuming and inconvenient.

I agree, and luckily for both of us there is a better solution. You can purchase a specialty tea that combines all of the teas I mentioned along with other powerful ingredients to which multiply the fat loss benefits exponentially. The blend is called Tava Tea, which is an all-organic blend of the most potent fat loss teas and spices available anywhere. Tava Tea is the most highly regarded fat loss tea you’ll find, and is backed up by research and supported by hundreds of positive customer reviews. You can find out more about Tava Tea and purchase it here.

Chinese diet teas have been around for centuries, but have become increasingly popular in recent years outside of Asia. These herbal teas come with a long list of health benefits, and most have a pretty pleasant taste as well. While traditional uses in ancient Chinese Medicine sway towards increasing longevity and boosting immune function, these teas have become known in the west for their ability to aid in the fat burning process, as well as for being high in antioxidants and lowering LDL cholesterol. Although caffeinated, these Chinese diet teas also contain theanine, which works to counteract the ‘rush’, resulting in very little stimulatory effects.

In addition to the health benefits of these teas, they are also light refreshing beverages that are enjoyable to sip. Many enjoy a quiet moment alone with their hot cup of tea to reflect, unwind, or just bring a little ‘Zen” moment into their hectic lives.

Green tea is without doubt the most popular of the herbal Chinese diet teas, heralded for the metabolism boosting effects of its primary compound EGCG.

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition recently carried out 14 trials with over 1,000 participants to ascertain the effects of green tea on cholesterol levels. In just three weeks, the participants who regularly consumed green tea showed significant reductions in total cholesterol and LDL, both indicators of risk for heart disease.

Green Tea for Weight Loss and Increased Energy Levels

Green tea is especially high in antioxidants called catechin polyphenols, which are attributed to the plethora of health benefits associated with it. As mentioned above, epigallocatechin (EGCG) is the polyphenol that gets the lion’s share of the credit, as it sufficiently stimulates the central nervous system causing fat to be mobilized into the bloodstream so it can be used as energy instead of padding for your love handles.

Green Tea carries the additional benefit of improving performance and physical endurance during exercise as it triggers increased thermogenesis in the body. Polyphenols like EGCG stimulate the muscles and liver to use available fatty acids for energy, minimizing the use of stored carbohydrates. This leads to more even, sustainable energy levels over a longer period of time. The end result is more calories burned, which is a good thing when it comes to fat loss.

Tava Tea is another popular Chinese diet tea offering both health and weight control benefits in a mild tasty beverage. Tava is actually a blend of three different organic teas; Puerh, Oolong and Sencha. These teas are also offered separately, and you may be familiar with them already. Similarly to green tea, tava also reduces overall cholesterol and boosts metabolism.

Tava Tea is a powerful blend, and like green tea has no unwanted side effects and doesn’t create the ‘wired’ effect of other caffeinated beverages like coffee, nor is it counter indicated with any medications.

Tava tea has a proven track record when it comes to aiding in fat loss, and users say its effects are more profound than those of green tea. Regular consumption of tava tea can considerably increase the amount of calories burned per day, even without exercising.

As an additional benefit, tava tea has also been shown to fight off the free radicals associated with premature aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Tava tea is USDA certified organic, and has both a COA and CERES certificate, ensuring that is a high quality product free of any dangerous toxins.

One more secret about this powerful Chinese diet tea; the leaves are dried via a special process that doesn’t cause them to dry out to the degree that regular tea leaves do. This retains the integrity of the active compounds and makes for a fresher, more delicious cup of tea.

It took a few centuries, but is seems as if the west has finally caught up with Asia as evidenced by the growing popularity of these Chinese diet teas. Green tea boasts the powerful polyphenol EGCG which boosts metabolic rate and lowers cholesterol. Tava tea, the special Chinese blend of Oolong, Sencha and Puerh, exerts the strongest effect on fat loss along with its other health benefits, and may be the new ‘king of the hill’ when it comes to Chinese diet teas. If you’ve never tried tava tea, you’re really missing out. Follow the link below to learn more about this new ‘wonder tea’ and try some for yourself.tavat
